About This Spirit
The Botanist is an artisanal hand-crafted and distilled gin made at Bruichladdich distillery on the Scottish island of Islay. As the first Islay Dry Gin it is truly unique, with 22 wild and hand-foraged, local herbs and flowers delicately and slowly distilled with nine classic gin botanicals. The botanicals are gathered responsibly from the hills, shores and bogs of the Hebridean Island by The Botanist's expert forager, with the liquid capturing the heart and soul of the island.The Botanist is floral with a hint of citrus, so try it in a martini or with tonic and a seasonal garnish, as well as in any classic gin cocktail.As of 2020, Bruichladdich Distillery is proud to be the first whisky and gin distilling company in Europe to become a certified B Corporation.
